As I said: a mix of excitement and tropical views as the icing on the cake. Shall we list the ingredients in order?
This is Tajo de Las Viñas Lentegí via ferrata.
We’ll meet you directly in Lentegí or Otivar, or if you prefer, at the Nerja bus station, where we’ll pick you up by van. The journey is already building, as we’re headed to one of the most spectacular places to do via ferrata in the province of Granada.
And when we arrive… the fun begins!
Before putting on our helmets and harnesses, we have a brief chat to get to know each other, break the ice, and explain everything you need to know so you can enjoy the activity to the fullest and safely.
Never done a via ferrata before? We’ll explain it from scratch, without rushing.
Have you done a few? Well, get ready for one of the most vertical routes, with the best views… and a surprise included!
With our gear on, we begin the approach, and in just a few minutes we’re off and running.
The first thing you’ll see is one of the highlights: a bridge to heaven so long and so aerial that it feels like you’re floating between the Lentegí ravine and the Costa Tropical. Don’t worry, though, we’ll cross it safely secured and at an Andalusian pace.
Then come the Tibetan bridges, which move just enough to give you that little bit of excitement. Nothing crazy, but enough to make you let out a “whoa!” as you advance.
And if that weren’t enough, the route includes a vertical climb on steps embedded in the rock. It’s impressive, but the scenery more than makes up for it: you’ll see the entire Lentegí Valley, the coast, and if the weather is good, even Africa can be glimpsed.
The route is classified as K3 (medium difficulty). You don’t need to be a superhero, but you do need to come with enthusiasm and no fear of heights. If you’re more into the couch and the controller, we’ll save that for another time.
The entire tour is done calmly, with a good vibe, and with a guide who’s knowledgeable in safety and laughter, who will explain interesting facts about the area and adapt the pace to suit the group.

No, you don’t. We will help you at the hardest spots, because we are expert guides in risk management.
Two of the vias ferratas have several adaptation options. Don’t worry, we will choose the most suitable for your skill.
Comfortable clothes to do the via ferrata, suitable footwear. Although we provide food and drink for the eco-picnic, you are welcome to bring any other snacks or beverages you need. We especially recommend you bring something extra to drink – the water we provide is a half liter plastic water bottle. In short: if you can bring your own drink, all the better (and if it’s in a sustainable container, that would be peeeeerfect).
