Our goal is to help Barbarossa to recover his ship and find the treasure chest. You will have to work as a team, solve riddles and kayak along a beautiful route, while being entertained by the good ‘ol Barbarossa and his assistant. Yep, this one’s Ideal for adults with children.
Let us tell you about it in detail!
This is this pirate kayak route in Maro
We will meet on the beach of Maro and ideally you will come dressed up in your pirate gear from home, so we can get started right off the bat. Upon your arrival, a pirate will paint a tattoo on everyone, put life-vests on you and store all your personal belongings in a safe place, so that they do not get wet.
And make way for the master pirate himself: Barbarossa arrives at the shore. He’ll introduce himself and tell you his pirate story. Poor thing! He has lost his ship. It has been stolen by some crooks who seem to have left clues lying around that will help us to solve the mystery in order to advance to the next spot on the map. Because there is a pirate map, of course, and a pirate song, a pirate motto… We said it’s a pirate adventure, didn’t we?
Once the story has been told, Barbarossa will lead some group activities in order to get everybody involved so the adventure can get started. First he starts with games and riddles on the beach of Maro, and has locks that can only be opened if the questions are answered correctly. The youngest ones will get right into the story – they’ll put their imagination to work and will be eager to solve tests and move forward in order to help find the ship.
Once those challenges have been solved on the beach, it’s time to take our kayaks to the sea – and so the route begins! Beforehand, Barbarossa will teach a handful of lessons on safety and paddle handling. There will be one adult in each kayak with up to two children. When all the little pirates are ready, we’ll jump into the water with the kayak, play, navigate following the map and go through a 40-meter waterfall before reaching our next stop, the cove of Maro.
Clues along the way will tell us the whereabouts of the chest, and we will follow them, heading back to the beach of Maro, singing at full volume our pirate song, as the consecrated pirates we are. When we get there, we will find the chest, open it… and viola – mystery solved! Fruits, juices, water, chocolate coins, a pirate certificate… Now that’s a treasure! We will replenish our strength and end the activity, which you will be able to see immortalized in the photos and videos that we will send you in the afternoon (or the next day at the latest).
